Tried to go to Celtic Fest with Rob today, but it was too rainy :(   So instead, we went out for lunch with Erin at an Irish Tea Room, and the day turned out wonderful after all!!!  I just finished the leftovers of bangers and mash and shepherd's pie.  It was delicious...Sophie's pretending she wants to cuddle with me, when really all she wants to do is steal longing glances at my bowl when I'm not looking.  She's a tricksie dog....

Working on wedding thank yous...I know, I'm taking forever...   Everytime I use something someone got us, I think of them and am very thankful in my heart, but the actual task of sitting down and putting those thoughts to words on paper with organization---eiy-yie-yie

So sad I didn't get to visit Spugly and master Logan today...overslept (which is better anyway since I've still got a cold, and Katie didn't really get much sleep last night).  Maybe this Friday, or maybe when Becca can come along...

Rob and I got a new bed, and it's lovely.  We actually went camping this weekend and tried out our new camping/backpacking hammocks rather than trying out our new matress...the bed is much more comfortable!!!  Although I think if I can lay sideways in the hammock, I'll be very comfortable...that is, if dying/distressed squirrels can keep their cries to a minimum.  There was one seemingly doing circles around our campsite for a good 20 minutes, screaming all the while.  Then a large truck turned around in our campsite right next to Rob's head at about midnight...Rob never woke up!!!  Meanwhile, I can't sleep, am trying so very hard not to move around (it would make too much noise) in order not to wake Rob or the neighbors, and am being pelted by half-eaten nuts from family of squirrels above me!   It really was a lovely weekend. We made breakfast for our camping neighbors and ourselves over the campfire, and we both decided it's a bit easier to cook while camping than at home.  We also made s'mores with strawberry marshmallows!

Well, I gotta go check Rob's fantasy football league for him, and give him the report.

It's so funny--I'm on xanga as much as any other site, but I never post!  I just enjoy reading everyone else's that I don't really think of posting on my own.

Maybe that because there's not much going on...  Let's see if I can give an update:  Rob wants to switch to working days (and I'd like him to also--I'm lonely and petrified of whatever beastie comes alive in my kitchen when I'm tucked in my warm bed at night).  He's looking into possibly a park ranger/police officer or nursing or fish farming  (all very different, I know).  So, keep us in prayer about that change.  My sister-in-law is due in November with a girl, and we're all very excited to meet her!  I'm still working with the same family--the three year old is starting preschool TOMORROW!!!!  I'm kind of sad, but excited to spend more quality time with the one year old.  And last, but not least, I need to visit some friends of mine who don't live so very far away!

Well, I'm married.

It's still hard to believe for both of us, but very nice.  The apartment is all in order (basically--we just need to bring 11,000 tons of books of mine home--which we're supposed to be doing right now...instead we're both online at my parents' house-oops!)

It was wonderful to see you apt. girls at the wedding--even if that's basically all I did--see you...I've never been so overwhelmed by people in my life!!!!  It was a good overwhelmed, though.

I got  a new cell phone--AT&T now--I'll have to text or call you girls with my new number.  Miss everyone!!!

Can't wait to see everyone at the wedding!!!  And all the new little ones. My charges will be there.  Aidan's looking forward to dancing with me (I'm hoping VFCC will make an exception...)

Well, the littler one's calling to me on the monitor.
